Sunday Prayer and Reflections

May 19, 2024    KateLynne Ralston

Spend some time reflecting on the last week. Jot down any thoughts that come to mind.

How has God spoken to me through bible readings?

How has God spoken to me through prayer?

Spend a few minutes today praying. Try using the PRAY model.

PRAISE: Thank God for who He is, what He has done in your life, and all He has yet to do.

REPENT: Ask for forgiveness in the ways in which you have done wrong this week. Ask God to bring to light the ways you have sinned that you may be unaware of.

ASK: Bring your requests to God. What are you facing right now? What do you need from God in this season of your life? Ask God to be your shield, defender, comforter, refuge, strength, etc. Be specific!

YES: Say YES to God and what He is calling you to. Pray any scriptures that stood out to you this past week. Here is my favorite verse from this week is you need one:

"Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:1-6
